Responsibilities

As a Construction Worker, your key duties will include:

• Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
• Reading blueprints to determine work requirements
• Erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
• Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete and asphalt
• Assisting in framing houses, building walls, and roofing structures
• Paving and raking asphalt
• Cleaning and sorting salvaged construction materials
• Performing routine maintenance work
• Removing rubble and debris from construction sites
• Operating and feeding construction machinery and equipment
• Directing traffic near active construction zones
