Responsibilities
As a Bartender, your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning the bar area and washing glassware
- Preparing mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Serving food or snacks
- Taking beverage orders directly from patrons or serving staff
- Collecting payment by cash, credit, or debit card
- Operating the cash register
- Storing beverage and food products properly
- Ordering bar stock and maintaining inventory control
- Enforcing provincial or territorial liquor laws and regulations
