Job Description
Allcan Holdings (AHL) Ltd. is seeking experienced and reliable Long Haul Truck Drivers to join its growing transportation team. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for drivers who enjoy long-distance driving, international routes, and working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Drivers will be responsible for transporting goods safely across regional, national, and international routes while ensuring accurate documentation, vehicle safety, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities
As a Long Haul Truck Driver, your responsibilities include:
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Drive lighter and special-purpose trucks when required
- Load and unload cargo
- Inspect tires, brakes, lights, refrigeration units, and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
- Transport and handle dangerous goods in compliance with safety regulations
- Record cargo details, distance travelled, fuel consumption, and hours of service
- Complete driver logbooks, inspection reports, and trip reports
- Prepare and manage bills of lading and trans-border documentation
- Receive and make payments for goods when required
- Ensure vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues
Requirements
The employer has outlined the following essential criteria:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Valid Class 1 or Class A Driver’s License
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Valid passport
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Willingness to relocate (relocation costs covered by employer)
- Willing to travel long-haul, overnight, and internationally
- Experience operating GPS and navigation systems
- Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)
- Physically fit for demanding work conditions
