Key Responsibilities

This role is essential in managing farm operations, supporting research activities, and leading a team.

Farm Operations

  • Ensure high standards of animal care and welfare
  • Maintain accurate livestock and production records
  • Oversee milking, calf rearing, and stock movement
  • Manage general farm maintenance and operations
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards

Research Support

  • Collaborate with scientists and technical teams
  • Assist in planning and implementing field trials
  • Follow research protocols and record accurate data
  • Support pasture and animal-based research activities

People Leadership

  • Lead and support a team of approximately 5 staff
  • Provide coaching, training, and performance guidance

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you should have:

Education

Experience
