Key Responsibilities
This role is essential in managing farm operations, supporting research activities, and leading a team.
Farm Operations
- Ensure high standards of animal care and welfare
- Maintain accurate livestock and production records
- Oversee milking, calf rearing, and stock movement
- Manage general farm maintenance and operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
Research Support
- Collaborate with scientists and technical teams
- Assist in planning and implementing field trials
- Follow research protocols and record accurate data
- Support pasture and animal-based research activities
People Leadership
- Lead and support a team of approximately 5 staff
- Provide coaching, training, and performance guidance
- Foster a positive team culture aligned with company values

Requirements
To qualify for this position, you should have:

Education

Experience
- Previous dairy farming experience at 2IC level or higher
