Key Responsibilities
As a Welder, your main duties will include:
- Interpret welding process specifications and follow established procedures.
- Operate manual, semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, technical drawings, specifications and manuals.
- Examine completed welds to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Operate pre-set welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Maintain welding equipment and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering machinery.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
