Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods:
- Plan and adjust travel routes using GPS and navigation systems to optimize fuel efficiency
- Load and unload cargo carefully and securely
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, and equipment)
- Perform minor repairs and handle roadside emergencies when needed
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, distance traveled, and working hours
- Complete documentation such as inspection reports and bills of lading
- Follow all safety and transportation regulations
- Collaborate with team members and support efficient operations

Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following:
- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: No prior experience required (training provided)
Certifications & Licenses:
- Valid Class 1 or A Driver’s License
- Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Additional Skills:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with transport documentation is an asset
Work Conditions
This role involves hands-on and physically demanding tasks:
- On-site work only (no remote option)
- Long driving hours, including challenging routes such as mountain driving
- Handling loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Working in a fast-paced and high-responsibility environment
- Use of protective gear (hard hat, gloves, safety boots)
