Key Responsibilities
Working as a Housekeeper/Cook, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, comfortable, and sanitary private household.
Cleaning & Floor Maintenance
Floor Cleaning: Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors to maintain a clean and presentable home.
Carpet Cleaning: Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies and shampoo them when required.
Upholstery Cleaning: Shampoo and maintain upholstered furniture as needed.
Furniture Cleaning: Dust and polish furniture and household fittings.
Metal Fixtures: Clean and maintain metal fixtures and fittings.
Window & Glass Cleaning: Wash windows according to the household schedule and clean glass surfaces.
Housekeeping & Room Duties
Bed Making: Make beds and change linens as required.
Room Organization: Tidy bedrooms and other household areas and ensure they remain neat and organized.
Laundry: Sort, wash, load, unload, fold, and put away laundry.
Ironing: Iron and press clothing and household linens according to requirements.
Waste Removal: Empty trash containers and dispose of household waste in a sanitary manner.
Bathroom Cleaning: Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and other bathroom areas.
Cleaning Equipment: Operate mechanized cleaning equipment and ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are kept safe and sanitary.
Household Maintenance: Monitor and report domestic repairs, replacements, or other issues requiring attention.
Child Safety: Help maintain a safe and sanitary environment for children in the household.
