Job Description
In this role, successful candidates will transport children safely to external schools while also supporting engaging activities within the OOSH service. Drivers will spend up to one hour per day driving, with the remaining time working directly with children in a positive and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a bus driver / mentor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Safely transport children between schools and the OOSH service
- Follow assigned transportation schedules and routes
- Ensure children’s safety and wellbeing at all times
- Support fun, creative, and educational activities
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
- Maintain professionalism and responsible driving practices
- Follow company child safety policies and procedures
- Report incidents or concerns according to child safety guidelines
- Assist with daily program activities and supervision
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety standards
